C4: Export Facilities
Univanich is focused on the growing market in Thailand, where a population of 62 million consumers and an expanding economy is increasing the demand for palm oil. However, Univanich also operates an export facility at the nearby Krabi port of Leam Phong. From this deep water port Univanich's exports in 2003 exceeded 50,000 tonnes of CPO and PKO, making the company Thailand's leading exporter of palm oil. Principal oversea customers are in India and Malaysia but shipments have also been sent to China and Vietnam.
