In May 2017 Univanich purchased the assets of Chok Vallapha Palm Oil Co., Ltd. This crushing mill in Kura Buri District of Phang Nga Province has been renamed Univanich CVP factory

ในเดือนพฤษภาคม 2560 ยูนิวานิช ได้ซื้อทรัพย์สินทั้งหมดของ บริษัท โชควัลลภา น้ำ มันปาล์ม จำ กัด ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ที่ อ.คุระบุรี จ.พังงา และเข้าบริหารงานโดยใช้ชื่อว่า โรงงานยูนิวานิชซีวีพ

To accommodate the Univanich managers appointed to the CVP factory a triplex unit of three management houses was recently constructed within the CVP compound.

The recently acquired CVP factory has a capacity of 60mt FFB/hour and is the fourth Univanich palm oil factory in Thailand.

In October 2017 Univanich completed construction of the new Pabon crushing mill in Phatthalung Province. This is the company’s fifth palm oil crushing mill in Thailand.

Since oil palms are a developing crop in Phatthalung, Univanich has also built an oil palm nursery on the Asia Highway at Pabon. This is to enable local farmers to plant high-yielding Univanich seedlings when they convert their farms from rubber and other crops

The new Pabon factory has an initial capacity of 30mt FFB/hour but it is designed with space for expansion to 60mt FFB/hour when oil palms become well established in Phatthalung Province

In 2017 Univanich constructed palm oil storage tanks to improve the efficiency of exports from the Laemphong deep-water Port in Krabi.

The recent development of Univanich shore tanks has made the Chean Vanich port of Laemphong into one of Thailand’s best west-coast ports for export of this region’s surplus palm oil to India, Middle East and to Europe.

In 2017, Univanich acquired a site of 125 rai (20 hectares) on the main Phang Nga highway at Bang Wan, between Phuket and Ranong. It is planned to develop this in 2018 as an oil palm nursery to supply high-yielding Univanich seedlings to Phang Nga small farmers, in support of our new CVP crushing mill.

The Univanich Carmen crushing mill in Mindanao, Philippines processed 84,000 tonnes of FFB in 2017. All this fruit was produced by local small-holders who have recently converted their family farms to grow oil palms.
