Capacity of palm kernel crushing plant at Lamthap factory has been increased from 75 ton per day to 155 ton per
day with the installation of 8 new presses. This is to cater for PK production coming from the new Pabon factory and
other PK purchased from third party factories.
รงงานสาขาลำ ทับได้มีการขยายกำลังผลิตในการบีบแมล็ดในปาล์มโดยการติดตั้งเครื่องบีบเมล็ดในปาล์มอีก 8 เครื่อง ทำ ให้เพิ่ม
กำลังผลิตจาก 75 ตัน/วัน เป็น 155 ตันต่อวัน เพื่อที่จะรองรับเมล็ดในปาล์มจากโรงงานป่าบอน ในจังหวัดพัทลุง และการซื้อเมล็ดใน

Construction of two 300 tons palm oil
production tanks at CVP factory, allowing
the day’s oil production to be stored
separately and quality control testing to be
completed prior to the oil is being pumped
to the appropriate tanks for storage and sales.

Installation of Waste Water Separators at Pabon Factory. 2 sludge separator machines have been installed to reduce
oil losses and improve factory efficiency in the oil recovery.

The 45,000 m3 In-ground Anaerobic
Reactor at Pabon was completed to handle the
Palm Oil Mill Effluent ( POME). This is part of
the waste water treatment system . The Pabon
anaerobic reactor is designed to capture methane
biogas which would otherwise be emitted to the
atmosphere as a potent greenhouse gas.

The innovative smoke scrubber installed
at the Pabon factory is designed to reduce
particulate dust emissions from the boiler
chimney. This is a new development for
Thailand’s palm oil industry and the Pabon
factory has virtually eliminated chimney dust
emissions.

Oil Palm Research, Dr Palat Tittinutchanon accepted the
2019 runner-up award for an Outstanding Innovative
Company. This was in recognition of the company’s
success in producing drought-tolerant oil palm seeds
using innovative Tissue Culture and Genomic Techniques.

supplier of high-yielding drought-tolerant oil palm seeds.

In Philippines, Univanich Carmen Palm Oil Corporation invested US$ 7.2 m to expand the capacity of the UCPOC
Factory from 30 mt FFB/hour to 60 mt FFB/hour. This new capacity was commissioned in the first quarter of 2020 to
cater for fruit production from expanding smallholder oil palm plantings since the Univanich joint venture Factory was
built in North Cotabato province in 2014.
