Please be informed that Dr.Veerathai Santiprabhob has resigned from the Board of Directors and from the Audit Committee of Univanich Palm Oil Public Company Limited, with effect from 23rd January 2009, since he has accepted a position with the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

The appointment of a replacement of Dr.Veerathai Santiprabhob as an Independent Director and Audit Committee member will be announced in due course.
